You didn't really think I was actually going to finish a game, did you? Silly Newgrounders :)

In all seriousness though, an exam got in the way and I'm trying to work on another game + some web stuff as well. I doubt anybody but me cares, but if you do then I can say that I'm too far into development of this game not to finish it so eventually :P Same goes for that other game, but you haven't seen that yet :)

I usually suffer from perfectionism, meaning I don't want to show what I'm working on until it's completely done, but then again submissions from me have been scarce for a good while now so let's try something different :P

Behold the current state of my Flixel contest submission!

Arrows for movement, ZXC to use weapons (currently only X). Alternative controls are WASD and JKL.

Another reason I don't usually show my unfinished stuff is because I need to give a bunch of disclaimers, but here goes:

- The sprites are temporarily borrowed from a Gradius (NES game) and some random sprite sheet I found on the net. I have yet to settle for an artist, if you are an awesome pixel artist or knows someone who is let me know, k? :)

- The game is far from finished, it will have much more content as well as slightly more serious on screen messages.

- I already have most of the game figured out, but suggestions are of course always welcome anyway!

So yeah, enjoy this rare demo from me and leave lots of love in your comments <3

look ma i maded a gaem!

A life without energy drinks is not worth living. My favorite is Powerking (just the original one though), how about you? :)

tl;dr version
NG-Medals.com, how improve?

---

Alright, here is another news post about about my site NG-Medals.com :P

First off: NG switched things around in the HTML source code for medals recently (which I run through a script instead of manually adding everything), so until I had some time to modify my tools for these changes I was a bit behind on adding medal games. It is however fixed now, and better than ever.. Although no one but me will ever know I suppose ;)

Anyhow, moving on, this is some exciting stuff so hang in there :)

I know it seems like nothing is happening with the site, and that is due to the simple fact that there really isn't (except for keeping the database up to date). I have however been working a little on and off on a small redesign, and I'm aiming for a layout much like the one you can see here. Now, I'm mainly doing this site because I think it's fun, but also at least as much for the community (that means you!), so what are your thoughts on this? Is there some feature that you are dieing for the new version of the site to have?

I can't promise that you will see a finished redesign anytime soon, updating my script tools gave me some motivation so hopefully it wont take very long, but no matter when this happens I will make sure to go back to this post for feedback so it's in no way a waste of time to comment!

Some things I already have in mind (I will update this with your suggestions!):
- Possibility to hide already acquired medals (I'm having a couple of different ideas on how to solve this, hopefully it will be more or less automatic)
- User contributed tips for each medal in a more sophisticated way than comments (but the comment feature will remain)
-Completely automatized game updates (probably hourly), which makes it possible to send out emails to subscribers when a new game is added
- NG graphics (confirmed)
- Rating system for the medals' difficulty

I just figured I should drop a line or two here about becoming a mod :)

Thanks all who've congratulated me, I will do my best to keep the forums clean for your sake!

I'm fiddling around with XNA game development.

You know that stuff you use to make indie games for Xbox.

It's cool.

Do I need to elaborate?

If yes:

.
/* */
Also
Same context (important WC qualifier match), same teams, same stadium, same goal, same scorer, almost exactly four years earlier:

.
/* */
