I have decided for a few testers now and I contacted them by PM. At the moment I don't plan on taking in more testers, but if are interested if the door for any reason opens again leave me a comment :)

So, as I announced in my last news post I have a new game coming up, and I'm now far enough into development to have it tested.

I am limiting the number of testers to about 4-5 people. I want people who have a very good understanding of Flash and the Flash Player in particular, and I want at least one of them to be a Mac user so that I can get help testing stuff that I can't do on my own.

If you think that you have what it takes, post a comment saying so and I will choose and contact some of you by PM later today.

All testers will be credited, perhaps not in the game (it's a little bit tight with space as I have the credits in a corner of the main menu), but at least in the author's comment!

But what do you mean by "good understanding in flash and flash player"?

I plan on playing it and pointing out bugs, is that what you mean or no?

Well, I don't really know how to put it without giving too much away (I am trying not to let too much info out about this game before it's finished, I think the idea is original and I would not like it to be stolen.. although I do guess that I will be finished before anyone has the time to do that). I simply want other people to take a look at it and try to find things that I've missed, not glitches really, but different ways of doing something.

Hope this makes some kind of sense ;)

hey knugen, Im up for it. I use a mac and I think I have a good understanding of flash.. haha. but if there are more suitable people then dont worry about it, use them instead.

Testing on Macs is probably a pretty good idea. I know all too well what it's like if you don't. You get a hundred messages saying the same thing...

Yeah, I usually don't put too much effort into making my games 100% Mac compatible, but I am afraid that some of the key features of my game might be PC only.. It would be nice to know that the game is at least in some way possible to beat for everybody.

Hey i have knowledge in backpage webdesign and java, c++, and dreamweaver, and i just recently switched to a mac for my pursuit in animation i am willing to help if you need it. i run a Imac with 2.8 GHz intel core 2 duo processor, 2gb memory

While I do have no submissions, I think it's important to know that I do have a lot of flash-knowledge, as I have toyed around with it for years now.

I've done some beta-testing before (on bigger retail titles) so I can think of a few ways of testing your game's limits ;)

LEVEL 10:

If your browser is on full view make it smaller so that you can scroll up and down the game. Scroll down to the very bottom half of the game till the start button reaches up to the top of your browser. Then click on the START button and go over your browser to the END button.
WARNING: BEFORE entering the game be careful to click the mouse and HOLD IT till you're on the green END button.
Then once you've reached the green button without dying try being fast and click loads of times.

That's how it worked for me without using the stupid control cheat.
